Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Herefordshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown The role involves: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required 4+ years on the tools preferred.
