Wood machinist — Renfrewshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Renfrewshire, Scotland. You will be based on a residential housebuilding project. What we are looking for: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish Rotating shifts.
