Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Anson County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Six days a week, one day off.
