We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Bogoro, Bauchi State. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
