Immediate opening: refrigeration service engineer (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Perth and Kinross, Scotland. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. On the job you will handle: • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Full-time with occasional weekends.
