Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Rotating shifts.
