Immediate opening: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Alleghany County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) On a typical shift you will glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
