MIG/MAG welder wanted in Giles County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Giles County, Tennessee. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $15 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
