Now hiring: we are hiring a maintenance electrician in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Able to read single-line and wiring diagrams • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £100 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
