Immediate opening: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based at a paint and panel shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement On a typical shift you will check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
