UPVC welding machine operator • Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame What we are looking for: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
