Shuttering carpenter wanted in Genesee County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Genesee County, New York. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists. You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Own basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
