We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in City and County of Swansea, Wales. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
