We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Socorro County, New Mexico. You will be based on a residential tower site. Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. You should have: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
