Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Gasconade County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
