Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Chouteau County, Montana. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Day-to-day duties: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Overtime paid at a premium rate.
