We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Monroe County, Kentucky. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
