Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. The role involves: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
