Fabricator-welder — Tucker County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tucker County, West Virginia. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
