Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Choctaw County, Alabama. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Six days a week, one day off.
