Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
