Vacancy available: site carpenter (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site carpenter in Cibola County, New Mexico. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
