Rough terrain crane operator • Alleghany County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Alleghany County, North Carolina. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. You will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). You should have: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
