Urgent requirement: HSE officer (Bayelsa State)

Join our team: we are hiring a HSE officer in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Pay around ₦85,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
