Earthmoving equipment operator wanted in Hertford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Hertford County, North Carolina. You will work at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
