We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Saginaw County, Michigan. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
