Urgent requirement: safety officer (New Mexico)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety officer in Lincoln County, New Mexico. Your main tasks: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time, day shift.
