Gas pipe fitter wanted in Powell County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Powell County, Kentucky. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Requirements: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
