Occupational health and safety officer • Mashi, Katsina State

Vacancy available: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Mashi, Katsina State. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
