Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre technician in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a tyre and puncture shop. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles Day-to-day duties: • Remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine 5+ years on the tools preferred.
