Great opportunity: stamping press operator (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Bland County, Virginia. The job is at a busy press shop. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
