Commercial refrigeration engineer — Adair County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Adair County, Iowa. You will work on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms The role involves: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
