Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in City of Waynesboro, Virginia. The job is at a busy press shop. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Part-time with flexible hours.
