Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Warji, Bauchi State. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
