Ideal candidate: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Day to day you will secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading.
