CO2 welder • Fremont County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Fremont County, Iowa. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
