Sample machinist • Hancock County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Hancock County, Kentucky. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
