Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Saint Martin Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Day to day you will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. What we are looking for: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
