Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in City of Falls Church, Virginia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
