On a typical shift you will cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site; install wash basins, sinks, WCs and flush cisterns; carry out pressure testing on newly laid pipe runs; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • ITI certificate in plumbing or fitter trade where applicable • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems Full-time with occasional weekends.
