Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Franklin County, Indiana. Requirements: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Day to day you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb.
