Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Charles County, Maryland. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
