Machinist wanted in Clay County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Clay County, Kansas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
