Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Stonewall County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
