Immediate opening: heavy equipment operator (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in McIntosh County, Georgia. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
