Pipe TIG welder — Michika

Join our team: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Michika, Adamawa State. On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. ₦120,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
