Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. You will work at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On a typical shift you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
