Semi-automatic welder — Vermilion Parish

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy production line. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs.
