Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Saint Helena Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet.
