CO2 welder • Denver County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Denver County, Colorado. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 4+ years on the tools preferred.
